Wow - what a film!

Mongol played at the Grand Reo Theatre this past Monday to a crowd of about 70 spectators. I think I speak for most of the 70 people when I say that Mongol was an amazing feast for the eyes. I heard all the chatter about the movie in the lobby and outside after the movie, most of it good.

I was glad to see so many people out for this movie event. And many new faces too! We hope to see everyone again and more to see The Duchess in January.

I'd love to hear your comments about Mongol. What did you think of the movie?

MOGOL is coming!!

Next Monday - November 17 MONGOL will be here in Vanderhoof for all to see. It is sure to be a good night at the movies. Love, betrayal, war, death, and beautiful scenery - what more can you ask for?

Remember to bring a friend with you to see MONGOL. We want to fill the theatre for this movie. Reel Alternatives wants to continue bringing  Vanderhoof new movies, but we can't unless people come and see them!

Check out the movie posters around town, and mark the date on your calendar. Call and book your babysitter now!

Looking forward to seeing you all there. 7:00pm at the beautiful Grand Reo Theatre!

After the movie, please come back to this blog and leave your comments. We always want to hear from you.

Reel Alternatives Blog up and running!

Welcome Movie Goers to the Reel Alternatives Blog!!

We are really excited about this blog. Our goal is to bring you information and discussion about past, present and future movies to be shown by Reel Alternatives.

We hope you enjoyed THE VISITOR that showed in October. I hear it was a good movie (I missed it at the theatre). Thanks for supporting Reel Alternatives!

Coming up on November 17, 2008 is MONGOL (7:00pm Grand Reo Theatre).
Visit our website for all the movie details: www.reelalternatives.com
I think that MONGOL will be a pretty spectacular movie to watch on the big screen. The scenery is supposed to be fantastic. The movie will have some violence in it (what would you expect from a movie about Genghis Khan?) but it is also a love story, so is sure to please everyone.

See you on Nov 17 at the Grand Reo. Until the next post - sign up to receive notices of our blog postings.

Cheers - Reel Alternatives Blogger
