New, Digital Season awaits!

Reel Alternatives will start its new season in a brand new medium: DIGITAL!!

Thanks to the good folks at the Integris Credit Union Community Foundation, we have purchased hi-end digital sound and projection equipment that will easily impress you.
That, along with our storng line-up of movies for our seventh season....and, well, its time to pick up your season pass.

Reel Alternatives will now operate out of the Small Auditorium at Nechako Valley SS on Bute Ave. They have a massive wide screen that will work well with our new state of the art system.

Film was becoming too onerous, too expensive and with industry going digital fast, it was a good time to jump in!

We plan on showcasing student films from around the north and will also endeavour to show more award-winning independent productions from around the world.

The first will be the multi-award winning feature documentary The Cove, a special presentation on BC Rivers Day (Sunday, Sept 26th, time to be announced soon).

Check out the movie list for our first half on our home page, it all starts with The Trotsky on Monday, Sept 20 @ 7 pm.
And as always, donations for the food bank are welcome.

Grab a friend and come check out a Reel Movie!!
